Control System / Automation Engineer
July 2011Production Machinery Limited (PML) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fisher & Paykel Appliances. Located on Allens Road in East Tamaki, PML designs, manufactures and builds production lines, not only for Fisher & Paykel's own appliance production, but also for other companies and industries around the world. As part of PML, you will see creative ideas evolve from concept to reality.
This role is a full time position based in Auckland working Monday to Friday with occasional overtime requirements. It involves the designing, programming and commissioning of the Control Systems of our machinery.
CONTROL SYSTEM / AUTOMATION ENGINEER prerequisites include:
- Integrate control systems with mechanical engineering principles.
- BE (Electrical/Electronics), NZCE (Electrical) or equivalent qualification
- Well-developed skill in electrical concept/design.
- PLC, Motion Control, Communications, and HMI programming skills.
- PLC, Servo, and HMI programming experience.
- Accurate documentation ability.
- Self-motivated, precise, and methodical.
- Excellent problem solving ability.
- A Team player.
- Able to travel locally and overseas to install machinery.
